Staycation at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Doha | Espinosa on Board

It’s been a year since the last time we booked a Hotel in Doha which is the exact date of our son’s birth month, yes! He just turned 3! And since we don’t have any plans to prepare a birthday party for him just like last year, so we’re just gonna do the same. Thankfully we have our Entertainer App to avail our exclusive access to special 2-for-1 offers, we booked our room at Grand Hyatt Hotel and stayed there for 3 days. We booked our Hotel for Rafael’s second birthday last year at the Intercontinental Hotel Doha which we also used our Entertainer app. We really save a lot of money by using this app especially if you loved to eat! (Just like we do! :D)

Grand Hyatt Main Lobby

The Reception is located at the first floor of the Hotel where you can also see the lobby which is really huge just like their centered Chandelier. While Chad was busy for the room check-in, Raf is busy running around the lobby just like a wild lion that comes out  from his cage for a long time! Hahaha!

The staff are incredibly attentive, anticipating what you need and always up to date on the latest happenings in town. Whether you’re a tourist or in for a staycation, It’s the ideal place to stay.

The rooms are large with big bathrooms and a terrace looking down on the gardens. The Hotel is also near to Lagoona Mall where you can eat and buy groceries from Carrefour.

The amenities are just limited but you can request more at the Housekeeping.

This is another plus for the Hotel. Who doesn’t love terrace? Even though it was too hot to spend much time outside it was great being able to go out, especially in the evenings and having a cup of coffee. Aaaah, feels like we we’re in Boracay!

Hotel Garden

If ever you booked a room at Grand Hyatt, don’t forget to visit their Garden. Very peaceful, clean, huge and really spectacular! You can just stroll around the garden and every corner of it are just so gorgeous. There’s always a staff working hard to keep everything maintained.

Beach

The Hotel’s private beach is very clean and well kept and the water is so blue that you can just even relax by. It is open from 7:00 am to dusk but you can still stroll around the beach during evening as long as you don’t swim at the beach. The beach also have some water activities to offer such as, Banana boat, Jet ski, Kayaking and many more.

Outdoor Pool

No questions at all why the Grand Hyatt is one of the best to stay here in Qatar. The beach, pool, all the facilities are first class. They have three outdoor pools and two children’s pools that you can even get a splash each  every one of it! They also has an indoor pool but kids are not allowed to go there inside so we didn’t bother to go there.

Playing area

Let your kids play at the Hotel’s playing area and if you have someone to look for your kids, you can let them stay here and while you enjoy the other facilities of the Hotel like the spa, gym, sauna and more.

By the way, thanks to Natasha at the Reception for giving us a free birthday cake for Rafael. It’s a complimentary cake for those who are celebrating their birthdays in the Hotel. The cake was really delicious! So if ever you’re gonna celebrate your birthday with your loved one, make sure to ask  for their complimentary cake a day before your arrival.

Look at Rafael’s reaction when he saw the cake given by the Hotel. He was so surprised and happy and he can’t even resist to dip his finger at the cake. hahaha! <3
