Chad and I do love staycation especially we celebrate some occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries and just like what we did last month, we celebrate our son’s third birthday and booked a Hotel just around the city. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Hotel for 3 days and it was also time for a little break away for us, as parents, we also craving a break from the stresses of everyday life, of course you also need that!

A staycation at the Grand Hyatt Hotel has so much to offer for the whole family especially for those who have kids. In fact, we didn’t thought that our stay would turn out so perfectly amazing!

So guys, here is a handy guide child-friendly things that you can get up to during your staycation at the Grand Hyatt Doha:

1. Play on the beach

The Hotel’s private beach is very clean and well kept and the water is so blue that you can just even relax by. There are water sports activities to offer such as, Banana boat, Jet ski, Kayaking and many more. For the little ones, toddlers and babies and less adventurous, don’t forget to bring their sand toys to make them busy for awhile.

2. Go for a splash in the FUNtastic pools

No questions at all why the Grand Hyatt is one of the best to stay here in Qatar. The beach, pool, all the facilities are first class. They have three outdoor pools and two children’s pools that you can even get a splash each every one of it!

3. Buffet Breakfast at Santa Monica Breakfast Club

One of the main reason why I love Santa Monica is they have an open indoor playing area inside the restaurant where your little ones can watch, play and eat at the same time! It has soft furnishings which provide cosy spaces for playing video games and fun activities such as foosball table and dart board for the big kids and kids at heart. The food was absolutely wonderful and fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price.

4. Celebrate your Birthday with them!

It’s a complimentary cake for those who are celebrating their birthdays in the Hotel. The cake was really delicious! So if ever you’re gonna celebrate your birthday with your loved one, make sure to ask for their complimentary cake a day before your arrival.

5. Wander around the Garden

Don’t ever forget to visit their magnificent Garden! Very peaceful, clean, huge and really spectacular! You can just stroll around the garden and every corner of it are just so gorgeous. There’s always a staff working hard to keep everything maintained.

6. Have dinner at the Ramadanak Tent (Only for the Month of Ramadan)

We don’t want to compare the other Hotel’s Iftar but I think this is the best Iftar buffet so far. The buffet area is spacious that you can go around in circles. The price for the buffet is 120 QR per person and since we have an Entertainer voucher, we only paid for one. The ambiance and food are beyond expectation. We really had a great time, a perfect place to celebrate with your loved ones during Ramadan and this was the most wonderful Iftar experience we had.

7. Let them be FREE!

Since we don’t have bathtub at our house, we always let him play and enjoy staying in the tub for an hour or more. Let them play, kids will always be kids! 📷
