If you’re a coffee lover, this place is perfect for you and you’ll definitely loved every each corner of this place.
It was a Sunday trip when we visited Tagaytay together with my Inlaws. We went to picnic grove for our morning route ’til sunset. I can say that the weather in Tagaytay is still the best than in Metro and this is one of the most popular tourist destination in Philippines and it’s easy to visit here since it’s just a 2 hour drive from the city of Manila.
Around Tagaytay, there are varieties of restaurants and coffee shops you’ll be able to try but the first thing comes into my mind is to visit the famous coffee shop in Tagaytay, the Bag of Beans. I’m so curious why so many people loved this place and even from the Metro residents are traveling to Tagaytay just to have breakfast or dinner or even have a cup of coffee.
The Bag of beans have several branches in Tagaytay and I don’t know where should we visit and which one is the nearest. I thought we we’re not be able to visit one of those branches because even my Brother-in-Law doesn’t have a clue where should we find it and even we ask the people who lives there gives us some directions but they’re pointing us on different branches. We do have Waze, but the signal is poor so our heads turning sideways to look for the logo of Bag of Beans. Hahaha!
And finally we found it! You’ll see this Logo hanging on the pole and we we’re super excited to see what makes the Bag of Beans so interesting. I’ve seen a lot of pictures on Facebook and their website but I wanted to see it for myself if it’s really worth to visit.

The parking space is spacious probably 15 cars can fit in.

The great thing about the Bag of Beans is they’re not just offering great foods or coffee, they also have room accommodations to offer. Check their website for the room rate: BOB ATHENA ROOM RATE.

At first sight, I thought that it’s just an ordinary coffee shop that has the the vintage tables and chairs, but I never thought….

OF THIS!!! This is absolutely fabulous and it’s perfect for us so our sleeping babies can lie down properly.
📷
In case you’ll ever plan to visit one of their shop, here’s their menu so you can choose your order in advance. Since we went to the Picnic Grove and had our pack lunch, we only order some cakes and coffee.

Their best-seller is the Chocolate Kitkat, but the Blueberry cheesecake is a must try too!
📷
You can also buy some of their coffee beans so if ever you’ll miss the taste of their coffee, you can still make it on your own.

While we we’re waiting for our orders to arrive and since it’s not yet crowded we still have time to take some pictures.

Now I know why the Bag of Beans is so interesting and a must visit in Tagaytay. All Instagram users would definitely loved this place including ME! Instagram worthy!

The view is such a breath taking. It was peaceful and so relaxing.I never regret visiting here and definitely go back here even for a hundred times! <3

There’s also a dining area inside the shop but I’d rather to seat outside to feel the cool air and good view.

Gorgeous dining area. The tables and chairs added the perfect ambiance around the shop.

Even the chandeliers are so elegant and beautiful!

Blueberry Cheesecake for Php 160.00. Not bad for the price and it’s really good! I love cheesecakes and this is extremely delicious!
📷
Chocolate Kitkat for Php 160.00. This is also nice but it’s too sweet. I’m not a fan of chocolates but I love the brownie/cookie in the middle of the cake.
📷
Caramel Machiatto for Php 130.00. My ultimate favorite. It is served with a coffee art in it which added a really nice touch.
📷
It took us 15 minutes just to make this shot beautiful (for me) and we didn’t notice that our coffee is no longer hot anymore! hahaha!
📷
And here we are enjoying the cakes and our coffee while having our GIRL TALK! 📷 So If ever you’ll visit in Tagaytay, I do highly recommend you to visit any Bag of Beans branch and surely and definitely 100% you’ll loved it!
