Trying some Korean Cuisines in Bukchon

So we already tried to wear a Hanbok, then why don’t we try to eat some local foods? Well, one of my ultimate dream is to wear a Hanbok and to eat Korean foods while wearing Hanbok.  Sounds crazy but a real K-drama fan knows what It feels. Haha! So before we hand over our Hanbok to the rental shop, we looked everywhere in Bukchon to find a Korean restaurant. Actually, there’s a lot of options that you can choose from but our plan is to eat while you’re sitting down on the floor and using chopsticks just like the locals do. We looked for half an hour just to look everywhere and finally we found one. But I don’t know the name of the Restaurant because it’s written in Korean.

Sadly we sit in these tables and chairs because you need to have a reservation first so you can sit on the area where you can eat Korean dining style.

Korean Foods

Korean traditional meals are kind of expensive and trying variety of them is costly. So we ordered Korean Table d’hote for KRW 42,000 good for 2 person and we were surprised because of too many food. It’s a Korean-style full-course meal characterized by the array of small banchan plates in varied colours. I do love some of their side dishes but the rest I got disappointed, because it’s not worth the price. Too expensive and most of the cuisine they served is not delicious. Sorry but I’m not recommending this restaurant. Maybe there’s a lot of Korean restaurants served delicious meals with a good price.

Chad is not satisfy with their food but still his ready for a smile. Raf is busy playing and he doesn’t like the food either. Too bad. 📷

Well, let’s just enjoy the food and thanks for the grace! =)
