Without a doubt, Filipino’s love to eat, especially on gatherings, holidays or even just having a dinner after a Sunday mass with your loved ones. But as an OFW in the middle east, it’s really hard to find food what you crave especially if you’re looking for authentic Filipino cuisine & desserts. Me & Chad had the chance to visit Dubai again last year 2016 and stayed again on my cousin’s place in Sharjah. My cousin brought us on newly opened restaurant in Deira Al Muraqqabat called, “In Little Manila”. This gets me excited since back in Qatar although we have some Filipino restaurants, but there is nothing like this; a one stop place for food trip – like a foodcourt on typical shopping center.

The entrance is really an eye-catching especially to the Filipino’s because of the restaurant’s theme is looks native, it has the Philippines Jeepney, parol, and the Christmas decorations so everyone can feel the spirit of Christmas even we are way too far to our loved ones.

It feels like that you are really inside of the Jeepney.

And yes, this is the first time I saw Zagu in the Middle east. How I wish Qatar also have like this.

I love Inasal, especially the “Mang-Inasal” in Philippines, which I thought it was Mang-Inasal because I’d never been tried the Jay-j’s Inasal before.  But I think it’s good.

One of Filipino’s favorite, Binalot, because common orders are served in plates or take away’s, but in Binalot, it’s a traditional way of the Filipino that you will eat in a Banana leaf and instead of using a fork and spoon, you must used your hands so you can eat properly, and most of the gatherings, we do sometimes the Boodle fight which is very fun and exciting.

We had a take away order here and the bread is good and yummy. I forgot the name of it but I think it’s ensaymada.

Together with my sister, my cousin and the kiddo’s.

We ordered Bopis, I think it’s around AED 35 per order.

And this one is the Inasal. What I mention above that this is my first time to try the Jay-j’s Inasal, well I can say it’a must try if you will planning to eat here. It’s really tasty and the way of the chicken marinated was perfect. But they should have an offer like Unlimited rice. Filipino’s love Unli’s!

This is Hita Inasal for AED 25 per order.

And of course, Zagu. But they only have few choices unlike in the Philippines. They should add some more flavors.

The 12oz is around AED 10 – 12, 16 0z is around AED 14 – 16 & the 22 oz is around AED 16-20. 📷

We really had a great time to had our dinner here and hopefully we have a chance to visit here again. Inshallah!
