Dukhan Beach – Qatar

My friend, Arriane invited me & my family to stay at the Oryx Hotel to spent the night with her & to celebrate her birthday as well.

Before you enter at the Hotel, you need to passed by the scanner of the Hotel just like in the Airport for security purposes.

This is the Reception area. My friend arriane was ready to check-in.

On the main entrance of the Hotel, you can see a piano in the center which is an eye-catching especially if someone plays with that instrument. But only the Hotel’s musician is allowed to play the piano.

We arrived to our designated room & this is a Classic King Room equipped with LCD satellite TV, high speed internet access, IP phone with a working desk, complimentary coffee and tea making facilities, Minibar, iron and iron board. Bathroom with walk-in rain shower, which is I thought it was bathtub because it’s a 5 star Hotel. But to compare with other Hotel rooms like Swisbel rooms are much more bigger than this room & affordable too.

My friends & I went to the Hotel bar which is , Jazz Club. I ordered Vanilla Alexander for 65 qatari riyals. The bar has a complimentary nuts for each tables.

It has also a live band who sings random songs but most of it are reggae.

They also celebrating birthdays so I requested them to sing a song for my friend Arriane who had her birthday recently. It’s a complimentary cake for a celebrant and it tasted so good.

We only stayed there just for 2 hours and they have this kind of photobooth design with some accessories to make a picture perfect.

18 November 2016 – Friday

We woke up around 6:30 in the morning to take a dip in the pool. Raf loves water so he really enjoyed it.

The pool area is located in the 2nd floor of the Hotel and in front of there Restaurant, Choices where we will having our breakfast.
