Dubai Park and Resort 2016

We went to Dubai last December 2016 and it’s our second time around to visit there. Last year (2015) we visited lots of places in Dubai such as Miracle Garden, Global Village, etc. That time we want to go somewhere which is new and luckily, there’s a newly opened theme park which is the Dubai Parks & Resort. It was recently open last year (December 2016) and of course, we didn’t missed that moment. And that time they have a Special offer which is a Multi-Park Single Day ticket for only AED 295. And I just remembered that I have a friend who’s working in a Travel agency in Dubai so I contact my friend as quick as possible and asked if they do have a special offer for the Theme Park, and she said yes. Foods from the outside are not allowed inside the park unless you have a child. And make sure that you wear your comfortable outfit specially the shoes ’cause it’s a really a long walk-galore.

The theme Park opens daily around 9 am until 8 pm. I suggest that if you’re thinking too much which is the first one to visit specially if you have kids, it must be the Legoland.

This is the main entrance for the visitors and you will also passed by the River Island before you reached the Theme Parks. Probably you will reach the park by 10-15 minutes walking.

Before heading to Legoland, there’s a big Christmas tree that gives more attraction for all the visitors and to feel the Christmas spirit to everyone.

And finally we arrived at the Legoland Dubai. Raf was having a little nap to recharge his batteries. Lol.

Legoland is a child-friendly theme park even the rides as well. It really amaze us because of the hard work of all the people who’s part of this because of the idea to build such an amazing things just like these: Santa & the reindeers was built using Lego’s. Isn’t it awesome!? Well you better see it for yourself and for sure you will enjoy it just like we do.

Don’t forget to get one of this guide map, Legoland is too big so make sure you visit them all.

Apart from that, there’s a place in the park that you can see some of the Countries best spots such as, India, Egypt, Dubai, etc. and it was all built from Lego’s.

Even raf was enjoying too while he’s waiting for us. If the child is not allowed to have a ride because of the age & height limit, there’s a waiting area for the kids who can also enjoy their time playing lego’s.

Well, I do love rides except the extreme rides like this. But good thing I tried and I keep on screaming all the time and the kids behind us is laughing maybe because of me. 📷 Even chad was laughing because I scream so loud and I keep on calling my mom! hahaha!

The park also has a cinema’s that you can watch a short lego movie. Inside here in Ninjago, it’s a 4D experience and there’s a bit of water that you will experience while watching the film and I think it’s part of the movie. Much better if you prepare a hat for you and for the kids as well. 📷

This is another lego show, but it’s a different from the other one. It’s more on a screen effect and the two lego characters (I don’t know their names) they perform live and with the help of the black ninjas (who were the ones who make the movement of the lego actors.)

Of course, our day wouldn’t be complete without a snack. Legoland has a lot of restaurants that you can choose from, but most of them is quite expensive. And we tried this one, “The Fried Chicken” it looks like a cafeteria but the price is a budget friendly so I recommend this one.

We had this freebies in the Customer service section but you need to answer their forms while your roaming around in the Legoland.

Motiongate

And our second destination is the Motiongate. Inside here, you can found the Smurf Village, Step up & Columbia pictures. But the others are still closed which is the Dreamworks & Lionsgate.

Smurf village is good for the kids ages 2-9 years old.

Step up has also a cinema that shows a short film which is has the same story of their movie.

The performers was so great and talented. You must watch this once you visit the Motiongate.

Inside the Columbia pictures, you can found the Ghostbusters, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, Hotel Transylvania & a lot more. 📷

And  the Best Actress award goes to…. ME! lol! 📷 (This is one of their souvenir shops which has different awards.)

Bollywood

And lastly, Bollywood. Inside here you can found the best movie of India and honestly, I watched some of their movies and it’s all really good! I can say that Bollywood is the best for making a story in a Movie. And additional, they also love dancing as far as I can see. But sadly we entered the Bollywood around 7pm so we only have 1 hour to roam around the Bollywood. We didn’t had a chance to try some of their rides because we only have limited time. They should extend their closing time until 10pm because the park was so big.

They do have an entertainment show which is the Bollywood dance.
