Dubai Escapade 2015 – Day 3 Global Village

3rd day: 19 Dec 2015 – (Saturday)

Mall of Emirates

is located in the heart of ‘New Dubai’, at interchange 4 on Sheikh Zayed Road. The mall have an indoor Ski where you can enjoy snow with your family & friends, Cinemas, fun rides & games which is named as “Magic Planet”.

The Mall has a lot of decorations especially Christmas is coming. Lots of Christmas trees, reindeer’s & even Santa Claus! We had our lunch in the Cafeteria before going to our next destination.

Global Village

Luckily most of the attractions here in Dubai are open during our vacation & we had a great time! The Global Village was one of the attractions we visited and it was open last year September 3rd, 2015 and closed in April 2016. And for additional info, it will re-open again this year, 1st of November until 08th of April 2017 from Saturday to Wednesday from 4:00pm-12:00am, and opens until 1:00am on Thursday, Friday, and public holidays.

Global Village is like a mini World tour that each pavilion it represents different kind of countries and inside of it has a lot of stalls that selling their delicacies & other things that represent their countries. Chad & I didn’t visited all of the pavilions because seriously, this village is a very very huge! I suggest that you should wear the best comfortable clothes & shoes so you can enjoy touring around this place.

The Eiffel Tower is in Dubai! 📷

Well for me, the most wondrous & unique pavilion is the Africa. Before you enter their pavilion, they entertain all of the visitors just doing dancing & singing while playing their music, you can also join them having fun! and when we entered to their pavilion, it feels that you are really in the Africa. You can see real African peoples (they we’re so nice & lovely) and all of their stuff are so native and very unique which is they are the one who’s doing it not just ordering from a factory and sell to the customers. So Chad & I bought a pair of bracelets, and a small drum covered by the skin of a buffalo. Cool right?

Global Village have games & rides too for kids and young at hearts. They also have shows for entertainment, you can even have a picnic there while watching the show or just rest for awhile.
