We went to Disneyland on my special day of my life… on my birthday! and Chad made it more special. I just want to share with you a short story what really happens before we went to Disneyland. 📷
On the evening of 23rd of October before my birthday arrives, by that time chad asked me what I want for my birthday but I told him that our Europe tour was already enough. So we had our quick dinner outside near to our Hotel and after we came back, I was busy preparing for our things for tomorrow going to Sacre Cour (that was our real 5th Itinerary!) and taking care of Raf while chad was busy with his phone all the time and I almost got mad because he doesn’t even mind to help me.
Rafael was already asleep and I’m busy with my phone posting of our latest pictures in my Facebook while lying on the bed and it’s already 12:00 am which means it’s my birthday. Chad hugged me and says, “Happy birthday, mommy! We’re going to Disneyland!” At first I didn’t believe him because I know going to Disneyland is too expensive but when he showed me the tickets that he bought I am so speechless and surprised. He knew that I love Disney so much especially the Princesses and I felt like I’m the happiest person in the World because I’ve got the sweetest man alive. THE END!!! So let’s go back to blogging, haha! 📷
Anyway, chad booked our tickets thru online for £72.00 per person for the Super Magic Plus 1 Day 2 Parks. I do suggest that if you want to get the ticket for the cheaper rate, you go for the Mini Ticket 1 Day/2 Parks but make sure you are in those dates availability of the said ticket. Because it’s according to the schedule and the season, they are basically low, high & peak season. Mini is Low, Magic is High & Special Magic is Peak. Magic flex can be used for any date within 1 year of purchase. You can view the calendar & buy tickets on the Disneyland Paris website.
How to get there:
Disneyland Paris is located about 20 miles away from the center of Paris and it’s very easy to go there and you can take an hour train ride.
From Denfert Rochereau station, we took a ride RER B Train going to Chatelet Les Halles. You can buy roundtrip train tickets from there going to the RER A (Red) train towards Marne-la-Vallée. Trains start around 5:30 AM and leave every 15 minutes. A one-way train ticket is 7.60€ per person.
Other departure stations: Charles de Gaulle Etoile, Auber, Chatelet Les Halles, Gare de Lyon, Nation

Take an elevator or escalator going up to the Park.

Finally we arrived. It was raining that time and we didn’t bring an umbrella but later on the rain stopped.

Disneyland Paris | Walt Disney Studios
And there we are. The happiest and most magical place on Earth, in the most romantic city on Earth! I felt like a kid again! We arrived in Disneyland by 10:00 in the morning and we started to roam around at the Walt Disney studios. We divided our time into two Parks; 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM for the Walt Disney Studios, then 4:30 PM onward ’til closing in Walt Disney Park. If you have babies or toddlers, it’s better to bring them to the shows and parades because it was absolutely magical!
📷
But before anything else, one of my simple joy is to have Minnie Mouse ears and finally I’ve got one! Rafael got a goofy doll from the Souvenir shop inside the park. Thanks to daddy for this! Raf and I was so happy even until now. 📷
📷
Meet and Greet with Goofy
Outside the shop, we stopped by and wait for a line to take a photo with the Jolly Goofy! Rafael was a bit scared because he doesn’t realized that he finally meet him in person. Hahaha!
📷
Meet and Greet with Mickey Mouse
We straight ahead to Toon Studio to look for Mickey Mouse and we found him. It took us for about an hour in the waiting line because there’s a lot of people wanted to have a photo with Mickey Mouse. If you want to Meet and Greet all the Disney Characters, you can download the Disneyland Paris in your mobile for their latest updates. Mickey Mouse is Raf’s favourite disney character and he actually hugged Mickey so tight. I think he wants to bring Mickey home. hahaha.

Mickey and the Magician show
After meeting Mickey Mouse, we waited again for a long line for the Mickey and the Magician show and it was all worth it. I’m about to cry because it was so magical and really a great show. It’s a Franco-English show which runs for approximately thirty minutes in the Animagique Theater in the Walt Disney Studios Park daily at 10:30 / 11:35 / 12:40 / 15:10 / 16:15.

And this is our happy faces after the show. So cute raf! 📷

Moteur… Action Stunt Show Spectacular
Another show you definitely should not missed in Disneyland is the Action Stunt Show. It’s an outstanding and breathtaking action scenes and pyrotechnic effects that captivate the audience.
📷
It’s a 40 minute show about the high speed chases that we usually watch in the action movies and human stunt work. They explained many of the stunts and the tricks behind them. They also had cameras around the lot so they could show us the little tricks they did during the show on a big screen.

Disneyland Paris | Disneyland Park
Disneyland Park is set up like Hongkong Disneyland. It has also five magical lands to be explored; Adventureland, Discoveryland, Frontierland, Fantasyland and Main Street USA and of course it wouldn’t be complete without the Mickey Mouse Garden.
📷
Disney Stars on Parade shines bright
The parade starts at 5:00 PM and make sure you’ll come by at the Park before the show starts so you can find a great place to sit and watch the full show. Thank God the rain stopped and the show was so marvelous.
📷
The Parade starts with Aladdin and Genie.
📷
Of course the star of Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse and friends. Raf was keep on shouting and waving to Mickey!
📷
One of my favorite Disney movies of all time, Toy Story! “There’s a snake in my boot!” 📷
📷
And a lot more of popular Disney characters.
📷
📷
My most favorite part, the Princesses! I almost cried when I saw them! *mixed emotions*.
📷
Oooh my beloved Belle! <3
📷
📷
And the last part was the Frozen characters.
📷
I’m actually expecting for the other Disney princesses, like Pocahontas, Jasmin, Mulan, Merida & Moana but they’re not on the parade.
📷
Disney Princesses, a Royal Invitation
After the parade we move forward to another Princesses show. Doesn’t looked like I’m obsessed with them, right? Haha!
📷
Look at my happy face! I felt I’m a kid again that dreaming to be a princess and dance with a prince just like them. Hahaha!

Disneyland Park rides
That was the last show we’ve watched and we started to take some rides, but seriously? 1 and a half hour waiting in line is so exhausting and such a waste of time. My boys took a ride and raf was the one who’s driving, isn’t he adorable???
📷
It’s almost closing so we tried to enjoy our last few hours inside the park and took some other rides that suits for Raf. This was his first time to ride in a carousel and we’re so nervous maybe he fell down so chad and I holding him side by side.
📷
Riding in “It’s a small world” was so much fun especially for the kids. You will ride in a sail on a whimsical world tour, as dolls from all over the globe sing and dance to the tune of ‘it’s a small world’.
📷
The spectacularly sparkly Disney Illuminations show
Of course we wouldn’t miss it for the world watching the fireworks show in the end is breathtaking and should not to be missed at all! The show starts around 11:00 PM and it runs for about 20 minutes.
