Hanam Pig Korea

하남돼지집 (Hanam dwe-ji jib) or loosely translated to “hanam pig house” is a chain restaurant and currently mushrooming at many spots in town. It’s pretty close to Wangsimni station and to our Hotel K-Grand Hostel hence you wouldn’t get too lost.

📷

We order the Set 1 which has the 3 types of their pork meat, Pork belly, Collar butt & Rib for KRW 38,000. Which is we do crave for pork because pork is not open to Doha where the country we currently lived in.

📷

We also ordered Kimchi rice. Topped with a sunny side up egg and minced vegetables. This is great for kids who doesn’t like to eat meat too much. Raf loves this one!

📷

The staffs are all in uniforms and they have a waist pouch that carries a thermostat device and scissors. Very impressive as you don’t see this kind of gadget being used at ordinary BBQ restaurants.

📷

They also provide this bowl, spoon & fork for those who have kids. Isn’t it cute? 📷

Of course it’s a Korean restaurant, it wouldn’t be complete without their bunch of Appetizers. Honestly speaking, all of their appetizers taste really good unlike the Korean restaurant we tried in Bukchon. (I will definitely never gonna try that one, ever again!)

📷

Korean BBQ restaurants are everywhere in Korea but what sets this place apart is their service! They’ll cook your meat to perfection and best of all, they are using fresh (non frozen) meat.

📷

First they will cut  the meat into pieces and grill. I didn’t know that Kimchi is tastier when it’s been grilled.

📷

I’m still craving right now while I’m writing this post. Haha! The meat are so perfect, fresh, and really delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant not just they have these delicious cuisine’s, but also they have a great service, friendly staff and easy to chat in English. Good job! TWO THUMBS UP for you guys!

📷

You can find this signage outside of their restaurant so if ever you passed by here, you gotta try this! Worth the price and to your tummy as well! 📷

Hope this post helps you while you’re traveling or planning to go in South Korea. Please do share your stories on my blog if you’d been here or if you have any questions, I will make sure to reply as soon as possible. Xiao!
