Best and affordable Seafood buffet in Doha

Chad and I we’ve been together for so many years and now we’re celebrating our 8th year anniversary as couples.  We usually go outside to have a dinner or watch movies (just like the teenagers do, haha!) Chad asked me where do I want to go this time, so I told him I want Lobster, just only that. Chad wants to prepare a Lobster meal for us so we went to groceries how much the Lobster is and I quickly changed my mind. Why??? It’s just that the per kilo of the Lobster costs 250-300QR. Never mind.

While I was browsing my Facebook account, someone shared a photo of seafoods night in Manila (Philippines) so I was thinking, why don’t we try a seafood night too? And I quickly searched thru Facebook where is the best Seafood buffet and there’s a lot of options but this really caught my attention. It’s only 169 QR per person and luckily, we have an entertainer voucher for this one so we only paid for one. They also have 250 QR per personincluding alcoholic beverages. I made a reservation so at least we won’t be worry to wait and I think reservation is a must so its better to call them 2 days before Thursday.

L2 Double Tree Doha old town

The Hotel is located at Al Meena street, in between of Plaza inn and Fraser Suites Doha. From our home, it only took 7-10mins drive so it’s easy to find the Hotel. You may use waze if necessary. L2 Restaurant is in the 2nd level of the Hotel and when you arrived these delicious dessert will welcome you.

Tables and chairs set up looks elegant especially the design of the ceiling. So fancy and it gives more light to their dark theme wall which it’s a perfect blend. The ambiance was great, spacious and friendly staff. They have a non-smoking area which is here and if you are a smoker, they also have a smoking area.

Good thing they have couch so Raf can sit properly.

L2 Buffet Menu

They have fresh fish that you can request to cook either grilled or fried. Of course the reason why I came here is because of the Lobster and yes, they also have Lobster so I quickly ask to cook some of it for us. It depends how many fish/lobster you want as long as you can eat the whole thing.

I didn’t had the chance  to taste their cheese but I think it taste good too.

I didn’t take any crabs because it’s hard to open it and too messy for me. But the squid and the shrimp is so good!

Chad is so serious with his lobster! Be careful guys don’t eat too much lobster especially for those who have hypertension problems. Okay?

This is raf’s plate. He also enjoyed the food especially the shrimp mac and cheese. He finished every single food in his plate and he also finished his 2nd plate. He ate like an adult! Haha! He’s not into seafood but it only means that he really loved it.

Another info, coffee is also part of the buffet so you can request if you want it too. I’m also a coffee lover so I tried their cappuccino.

And I ordered again (LOL!) this time it’s Caramel Macchiato and to tell you the truth, same taste like Starbucks! Awesome right?

See the happy face? We all had this face ’cause we really enjoyed the food, drinks, everything. I definitely want to come back here again and surely to recommend this to everyone here in Doha. Thank you for the service and you all did a great job!
