Day 5 (31st March 2017) – Ewha University

Tips before you go to Ewha:

Of course, always bring your kids stroller or carrier.Try all the street foods in Ewha because most of them you can’t see it in any other location of Seoul especially in Myeongdong. If you want to buy make-ups, don’t forget to ask for their sample products. You will enjoy it for sure!Always bring an umbrella because we don’t know when it will rain, so for your child protection, bring an umbrella as needed. If you’re looking for a great price for the clothes, check the Underground Metro of Ewha, it’s really cheap and looks fashionable.

In Seoul South Korea, most of the locals is prefer the walking than sitting or riding a cab. Even at the Metro train stations although the chairs are so spacious they still do prefer to stand. So maybe that’s the reason why they have the skinny body type especially the ladies. And base on my observation, you can only see 20% chubby or fat local woman, and the rest 80% is the skinny type. And I’ve heard that South Korea has the most effective and great quality when it comes to beauty products so that’s why they do have the perfect skin (for me), with or without make-up! And I am dreaming to wear a Korean uniform (even though I don’t have one) so I asked chad if we can go to Ewha University to see the girls wearing their cute uniforms.

Ewha Womans University

Ewha Womans University is a private women’s university in Seoul, South Korea. The manager of K-Grand Hostel, CJ, one must shop around the universities. Those are the places where you will find the best bargain because Korean students are very good at looking trendy on a budget. And it’s a shopping haven for women! So on the fifth day of our South Korea trip, we took line 2 to Ewha Station and leave exit 2 or 3 and head straight. But unfortunately, it was raining so we didn’t enjoy that much. The weather is mixed by the rain and cold breeze so we only stayed there for an hour. You can see a lot of choices of coffee shops, beauty shops and street foods!

Ehwa is one of the best-known universities in South Korea, also considered to be one of the top universities in Korea. Beautiful compound and architecture, right?

📷

The university houses in Ewha Campus Complex (Basement level 6 – 1st Floor) which is Korea’s largest underground campus. The lower levels contain a library, bookstore, gym, movie theater, cafes, and other cultural facilities, while on the first level visitors can find lecture rooms and an eco-park.

If I will be able to study again, I want to be a transfer student here and maybe I can see a lot of OPPA’s! LOL. 📷

There’s another LINE Shop that can be found here in Ewha and also a LINE Shop in Myeongdong but I think this is the bigger one. And of course, I met this big cuddly bear again!

Which is the best shade for me? Hmmmm… I want them all! 📷

After shopping and roaming around at Ewha, we found this one street foods that attract my eyes! Known as Modak Modak or Edae Grilled Chicken Skewer, this popular street food has been featured on several television programs. You can find similar grilled chicken skewer along the streets of Korea but I don’t think they will taste as good as this because this is freshly grilled on the spot, while the others was grilled beforehand. The Grilled Chicken Skewer costs around KRW 2,000.

Another round, daddy??? 📷

So after Ewha, we straight back to our Hotel because of the heavy rain. Well yeah, we stayed at our Hotel all day long and got a long nap. Zzzzzzz…

Hope this post helps you while you’re traveling or planning to go in South Korea. Please do share your stories on my blog if you’d been here or if you have any questions, I will make sure to reply as soon as possible. Xiao!
