Annyeong, Myeongdong! – Day 2 (28th March 2017)

Before we proceed to Myeongdong, did I mention that Maui Hotel has a daily breakfast? They served limited boiled eggs, bread, coffee and tea starts at 8am to 9am daily. But sadly we didn’t extend our stay in Maui because of the room is a bit  small for us, so we looked thru internet and we found one in Dongdaemun, K-Grand Hostel. But first we bought T-Money in With Me Store (if you are a budget travelers, don’t buy the T-Money with a cartoon character which is far more expensive than what we bought.)

After we finalize our booking in K-Grand Hostel, we used the Metro going to Myeongdong station. I suggest that before using the Metro, you must have the Subway Korea Mobile App. It shows all subway maps provide real time transit info, timetable, transfer info, station/area guide and so on. It is not only for first time visitors but also for the residents there going to an unfamiliar part of the city.

Finally, Myeongdong! Why we chose Myeongdong on our first trip?

Well, the first thing was we’re still tired from our long flight and not yet ready to go too far places especially we have a toddler. I’m telling you, struggle is real if you travel with a kiddo! 📷 Second, Myeongdong is one of the best shopping destination in Seoul so we look for something that we need before we start our tour around Korea. Lastly, Myeongdong have lots of street foods that you can try all of it!

By the way, along the streets you will see people who distributing a guide map for free and they can speak English, Korean & Japanese.

I’m busy looking for make-ups while Raf is ready to take a shot! SMILE!

You can find this big bear in the LINE shop.

We bought a great souvenir in the Underground of Myeongdong station. He will give you great discount and such a friendly guy by the way.

This really amazed me. Even the old ones are still working and they’re look so strong. Just like the old lady on the photo below. My God, how I wish when I get older, I’m still strong just like her.

We really had a great time spending here in Myeongdong, especially our tummy! Hihihi!
