Day 5 in Barcelona (Part 2): Montjuic Fountain | Espinosa on Board

After we visited the Playa de la Barceloneta we straight ahead at the Montjuic fountain or known as the Magical Fountain. The reason why they called it magical because of the show that runs during the evening time on weekends synced with music and lights. We actually planned to visit the show the day we went to Montjuic Hill on our Day 4 but I’m not feeling good after that so we just stayed at home.

The lighting show time is 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday on the month of November to January. They changed the time schedule every month and if you’re planning to visit and watch the show, check their official website HERE .

Although we missed the show, the fountain still satisfy our visit because the place is lovely and peaceful.

 Placa de les Cascades

On the opposite side of the Montjuic Fountain, you’ll see the Placa de les Cascades and a great straight view to the fountain. Such a beautiful place but we didn’t get time to see the Museum.

We took some photos of Raf but when there’s a group of ladies want to take picture with him and we didn’t bother to say no and here they are. Raf was surrounded by these beautiful ladies. A chic magnet, eh?

Las Arenas

The circular building you’ll see on the photo below was a bullring in Barcelona and now it’s a shopping mall named Arenas de Barcelona. We went inside the mall to roam around and bought some bread and coffee for a quick snack.

Ready to go back at our place and pack our things going back to Doha.

And here we are at the airport and before that, a group photo with Chad’s cousin, Roxanne and her son, Tristan. Thank you for letting us stay to your humble home and hope we’ll come back again in Barcelona. 📷

At last, safely arrived in Doha and we’re ready to go back to reality. Hahaha! Thank you so much Europe for a wonderful experience we had! 📷
