LA Bouqeria – Famous Public Food Market in Barcelona
You’ll easily find the Boqueria along the busy street of Barcelona’s La Rambla. It is the most famous and largest fresh market in Barcelona that has an enormous indoor food market that selling almost anything you could imagine you’d want to buy.

I saw all kinds of seafoods, offal, porchetta, jamon, chorizo, fresh juices and lots more. Anything your heart desire seems to be available at the Boqueria.

I asked the sales lady why the Jamon legs are hanging from the ceilings in the market and she said that it’s a way for a great technique for achieving perfectly cured ham and this was also their tradition that started a hundreds of years ago and has carried through to the present.

We’ve tried one of the Jamon, it was really salty and Chad really likes it.

Look at the perfect thin sliced of the Jamon, so clean and smooth.

Tried another Jamon on different shop and this time it was Chorizo and I really loved it!

Halloween is almost near and this shop was really spooky! At first I thought they we’re really selling human body parts. Hahaha!

The fruits are extremely cheap!

Fresh sliced fruits for €1.50!

Well our tummy is not yet fully loaded and tried their Empanada. They also offer 2 empanada for €4 that saves you a €1.

But I just wanted to try it so I only bought 1 for €2.50. Freshly baked, the stuffing inside was plenty and its really good!

This was our last stop and bought some of these for our little traveler and to his cousin.
