Bonjour!

I’m back! Sorry guys for not posting recently, well as you all know I’m a full time mom so I don’t have much time to stay long in front of my laptop and as of now my son is asleep and I’m done with all my chores, and yes, time to start blogging!

Anyway, we just came back from our Europe tour, yeah, you read it right, Europe! Chad applied our Schengen visa here in Doha. When it comes on applying for visa, Chad is the one who’s active for completing the requirements for our Schengen visa and thank God, our visa approved just for 5 days! For those who are residents here in Doha (Non-Qatari only),  that having a plan to travel in Europe, click this -> LINK for my blog post how to apply the Schengen visa.

We spend our 15 days in Europe starts from France, Rome and Barcelona. So I’m sharing you guys my DIY Itineraries and this is applicable for everyone, even you have a toddlers or elders when you travel these places. 20th of October is the day of our flight going to France. Everyone is dreaming to see France especially the most visited place on Earth, the Eiffel tower! And I am so lucky to see it for the first time in my entire life!

Yey! Got our boarding tickets together with our personalized passport holder. We got this from NameitPH which is made from the Philippines. So cute, right?

📷

We’re on board! My In-Laws are really excited for their first travel experience.

📷

Raf’s enjoying his activity card games from Qatar Airways. Doha to Paris would take about 6 hours flight so it’s a good thing to make your kids busy during the flight.

📷

Raf’s already appreciate watching movies even though I know he still doesn’t understand any of it… Can you guess what kind of movie is he watching?

📷

Now I know why he is so serious! Just like him, BOSS BABY! Haha!

If you’re traveling with kids, I do suggest that you should reserve a kids meal a day before of your flight so your kids will enjoy their meal while on the plane. Cute packaging that comes up with a lunch box, lots of choices that looks like a complete set for a kids meal. (This is a complimentary from Qatar Airways, I have no idea for the other airline if they also have like this.)

Finally! We arrived safely in Paris. Our drop off is at the Terminal 1, CDG (CHARLES de GAULLE AIRPORT). Look at those happy faces. 📷

Meet our little traveler. 📷

From the airport going to Hotel it took us about 1 & 1/2 hours. We avail our pick up service from Easy Go Shuttle that costs 70 euros per way. The van is big and spacious, the driver is so nice and friendly and he arrived at the airport on time. If you want to make direct bookings to them, follow this LINK for the reservation.

Hotel Du Lion

Before entering the Hotel, we didn’t expect that there’s a stairs to go up just to reach the Reception. The lift is located at the Reception and we have no choice so we carry our luggages to go up and down all by yourselves. Also, they only have one lift which fits two persons so for those travellers with huge luggages might have to take more than one time trip to the rooms. but the staffs we’re all very helpful and they do speak English too. Not all the locals speaks English so much better if you have a google translator with you all the way.

The Hotel is located on the corner of the street and very convenient to all. The Metro is just in front of the Hotel (Metro 4, 6 and RER B lines is only one cross from the Hotel) grocery stores (Monoprix), restaurants, fast foods, wet market, etc. They also serves daily breakfast that costs 10 euros but we didn’t avail it because there were so many cheaper restaurants along the streets outside the Hotel.

📷

We reserved a double room and it’s not that too big but it’s clean and cozy. Everyday they change the bath towels except the bed sheets but they still cleaning the room which is a good thing.

📷

A great view from our room. At least we can see the weather so clearly. FYI, most of the Hotels especially the cheaper ones, they don’t attach any Air Conditioner so I have no idea if what will be the situation during summer.📷

We took a little rest and went outside to roam around near the Hotel. Here are some of the places near at the Hotel.

Wet markets.

📷

Along the streets you will see this public toilets for those who can’t resist their pee or 📷. You just need to pay the fee but I have no idea how much is it.
